Containers Buyings & Sellings

We as ECL of companies are involved in container buying and selling. We are interested to buy and sell any type of containers in Pakistan as well, in any other part of the world. In general, in Pakistan container buying and selling activities are of two types, one is for 'Domestic purpose' and another is for 'International Export purpose'.

Domestic Purpose:

As per Pakistan customs, the container which is made out of steel also treated as imports into Pakistan along with the cargo which the container is carrying. The cargo is being cleared by the respected Importers after full filling the formalities of Pakistan customs. But the containers are to be re exported within the time stipulated by the Pakistan Customs or the container will be treated as 'Import to Pakistan' and thus the owner of the container or his agents have to complete the customs formalities (assessing / paying duty) in order to use the container for domestic purpose.

Re Exports purpose:

The containers are being bought in Pakistan for reusing the same with the export cargo or reposition as empty to various destination as per the buyer's wish. In this aspect once the containers are sent back to any such destination, the customs formalities should be completed by the shipping company who have filed the manifest for the container when landed.

We as ECL will offer both the above such services for our clients who are in need of containers for domestic purpose or re-exports.
